Firm Improves Upon its 2023 Rankings for Utility and Design Patents and Trademark Registrations
ATLANTA—(March 18, 2025)—FisherBroyles, LLP, the world’s first and one of the largest distributed law firms, and the only nontraditional firm to be ranked in The Am Law 200, has once again been featured among the top U.S. firms for utility and design patents and trademark registrations in the 10th annual U.S. Patent and Trademark Toteboards.
Recognized as a top intellectual property, patent and trademark law firm, FisherBroyles improved upon its 2023 rankings in three categories. The firm ranked No. 8 on the 2024 Trademark Registrations Toteboard with 644 trademark registrations on behalf of clients, up from No. 10 and 475 trademark registrations the previous year.
FisherBroyles ranked No. 15 on the Utility Patent Toteboard in 2024 with 530 utility patents obtained, a jump from its 2023 ranking of No. 21 with 477 utility patents, and was listed No. 21 on the 2024 Design Patent Toteboard with 50 design patents secured, up from No. 29 with 36 design patents in 2023.
The U.S. Patent and Trademark Toteboards, compiled by the Ant-Like Persistence blog, highlight the firms that helped clients obtain the most trademark registrations, utility patents and design patents in the U.S. Last year, the United States Patent and Trademark Office issued 377,891 trademark registrations, 324,042 utility patents and 46,952 design patents.
“While we understand that these Toteboards merely show the raw numbers of patents granted and trademarks registered, we are thrilled to be on the list and among the top firms nationally. Our patent and trademark benches are immensely deep and talented,” said T.J. DoVale managing partner, intellectual property for FisherBroyles. “Whether assisting individual inventors or large corporations, we are committed to providing tailored patent and trademark services and comprehensive intellectual property support.”
FisherBroyles stands out for its dedication to supporting inventors, startups and Fortune 100 and 500 companies alike in securing and defending valuable intellectual property rights.
The firm offers a full spectrum of global and domestic IP, patent, trademark and copyright services and capabilities, including application preparation, management, licensing, enforcement and prosecution before the TTAB, PTAB, U.S., PCT and foreign examining authorities.
