FisherBroyles, LLP is pleased to announce that Kelly A. Thompson has joined the firm as a partner. Kelly brings a full-service regulatory health law practice to the firm, and she becomes the latest partner to join our unique Law Firm 2.0 model after previously working for an AmLaw 100 firm.
Joel M. Ferdinand, the firm’s General Counsel and Managing Partner – Litigation, said, “FisherBroyles is delighted to welcome another partner in our Naples office. Kelly brings unique assets to the firm’s deep bench in the health care field. The Firm’s clients will benefit from having a stronger presence in the Florida market, which is an area targeted for growth by our Firm.”
“I was drawn to FisherBroyles because it is the future of BigLaw. The Firm allows partners flexibility and control over their practice, while still providing clients high quality legal work for a great value. The Firm has all but eliminated the antiquated and costly overhead associated with traditional law firms,” said Kelly.
“Kelly brings valuable regulatory health law and privacy experience to FisherBroyles and will be an outstanding addition to the Firm’s health care group,” said Mr. Ferdinand.
Kelly represents a range of health care entities on their day to day compliance with regulatory health laws, transaction structuring, development of health care compliance programs, HIPAA and state law privacy and security compliance, and licensure and enrollment issues.
Kelly received her bachelor’s degree and J.D. from Florida State University.
