Award Recognizes Professional Excellence and Commitment to Advocacy for Women
ATLANTA—(June 2, 2026)—FisherBroyles, LLP, the world’s first and one of the largest distributed law firms, is pleased to announce that partner Jamie Schwinghamer has been named the 2026 Collier County Women’s Bar Association (CCWBA) Woman Lawyer of the Year.
The award is presented annually to a female lawyer who has excelled in her career, overcome traditional stereotypes associated with women, is actively involved in the CCWBA and has promoted the status of women within the profession and/or promoted the status of women in the state of Florida.
A veteran with over 20 years of legal experience in estate and trust litigation and administration, as well as civil pretrial and trial services, Schwinghamer handles complex matters, such as will and trust contests, guardianship capacity and appointment litigations and breach of fiduciary duty claims. She is also experienced in commercial litigation, including business contracts, shareholder and partnership disputes and real estate conflicts.
She is deeply engaged in the Florida legal community, currently serving as the president of the Collier County Bar Association and a past president of the CCWBA. She is also an authority on guardianship and trust and estate topics, regularly presenting to professional associations and bar groups across the state.
“I’m honored to be named the Collier County Woman’s Bar Association Woman Lawyer of the Year for 2026,” said Schwinghamer. “As a past president, the CCWBA and its efforts to encourage the study of law and contributions of women within the legal profession is something I hold dear. It is my privilege to carry on the tradition of previous recipients who have worked tirelessly for the advancement of women in the legal industry.”
FisherBroyles partner Lisa Lipman was named the CCWBA’s Woman Lawyer of the Year in 2024.
Among the CCWBA’s key efforts are the “promotion, recognition and encouragement of the contributions of women within the legal profession and judiciary,” and the “promotion of the study of law particularly among women.”
