Tony Calamunci and Stuart Anolik were panelists on a program regarding the Cannabis-Current Market; Clinical Landscape; Taxation and Capital Markets. Other participants included Dr. Debprah Mash of Demerex Inc., Jeffrey Holcomb of Terra Dynamics GIS, and Duke Fu of Green Therapeutics.
Tony led a discussion on the current regulatory state of Cannabis including MSO’s and Indian Tribal involvement. Stu led the discussion of the taxation of Cannabis and non-cannabis products such as hemp and structures available to handle section 280E limitations as well as possible M&A taxation and insurance opportunities in the Cannabis space.
