With over three decades of litigation experience, James A. “Jamey” Harris, III is a trusted advocate for companies navigating complex legal challenges. Known for his practical counsel and courtroom clarity, Jamey excels at distilling intricate cases into compelling narratives that resonate with judges and juries alike.

His practice spans a broad spectrum of commercial litigation, including real estate disputes, class action defense, banking and financial services, insurance, construction, personal injury defense, and products liability. He also brings seasoned insight to cases involving intellectual property, estates and trusts, and multifaceted business conflicts.

In the realm of products liability, Jamey has defended manufacturers of everything from medical devices and motors to asbestos, abrasives, and personal protective equipment. His strategic approach and deep technical understanding have made him a go-to counsel for national corporations.

Jamey has successfully represented clients in federal and state courts across Alabama, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, and the Eleventh and Third Circuit Courts of Appeal. He has served as state and regional counsel for some of the country’s largest companies.
