W. Scott Creasman and Suzanne Nguyen Strengthen Firm’s IP Platform
ATLANTA—(July 22, 2026)—FisherBroyles, LLP, the world’s first and one of the largest distributed law firms, has added to its roster of partners veteran intellectual property attorneys W. Scott Creasman in Atlanta and Suzanne Nguyen, Ph.D., in Boston. Together, Creasman and Nguyen further expand the firm’s nationally recognized IP practice, bringing decades of experience advising clients across the full lifecycle of innovation, from patent strategy and portfolio development to trademark protection, licensing and intellectual property litigation.
Creasman joins FisherBroyles’ IP group after serving as partner with Taylor Duma LLP since 2007. He also spent nearly 17 years with Powell Goldstein LLP prior to its 2009 merger with Bryan Cave LLP, now BCLP.
His practice encompasses IP and technology litigation, as well as trademark and copyright prosecution, licensing and brand management. He advises clients on matters involving patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade dress, trade secrets, false advertising and e-commerce issues, including domain name disputes, privacy, information security and website accessibility. Creasman also represents clients in the education, entertainment and sports industries, including professional sports organizations, media companies, publishers and technology businesses.
Licensed in Georgia since 1990, Creasman has been recognized as Martindale-Hubbell AV® Preeminent™, The Best Lawyers in America®, Georgia Trend’s Legal Elite and Georgia Super Lawyers. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Yale University before graduating from Duke University School of Law.
Nguyen joins the firm’s Boston office from Goodwin Procter LLP. She previously practiced with McDermott Will & Emery LLP and Choate Hall & Stewart LLP and brings nearly two decades of IP experience serving emerging life sciences companies, investors and innovative healthcare businesses.
She focuses on strategic patent counseling and prosecution for biotechnology and life sciences clients, helping companies build and grow valuable patent portfolios while supporting financings, strategic partnerships and M&A transactions. Her experience spans a broad range of cutting-edge technologies, including antibody and peptide therapeutics, gene therapy, gene editing, radiopharmaceuticals, immuno-oncology, cell therapies, epigenetics, diagnostics and synthetic biology. She also has prior in-house experience as a global patent advisor with Mölnlycke Health Care AB.
Nguyen earned her J.D. from Boston University School of Law, a Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a bachelor’s degree from the California Institute of Technology. She is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. She has been recognized as a Massachusetts Rising Star by Super Lawyers from 2023 through 2026.
