Scott Creasman handles intellectual property and technology litigation, and business matters involving patents, copyrights, trademarks, trade dress, trade secrets, and false advertising. A significant portion of his practice involves the prosecution of trademarks and copyrights. He has extensive experience with a variety of Internet issues, including domain name rights and Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP) proceedings, privacy, information security, website access ADA claims, and other e-commerce matters.  His practice also includes intellectual property and technology matters in the education, entertainment and sports industries, including the representation of two professional baseball teams, professional sports coaches, actors/celebrities, social media influencers, documentary film clearance, television production houses and networks, screenwriters, and book publishing.

Mr. Creasman has been interviewed by a variety of media outlets on intellectual property and technology issues, including CNBC, The Washington Post, the Toronto Star, The Wall Street Journal, the ABA Journal, Bloomberg News, the Atlanta Business-Chronicle and Business Insurance Magazine.   Mr. Creasman has served as an adjunct instructor on “Legal Issues in Technology Transfer” at the Georgia Institute of Technology Scheller College of Business. He has spoken for numerous entities, including the American Bar Association Section on Intellectual Property Law, the State Bar of Georgia Intellectual Property Section, the Atlanta Bar Association Intellectual Property Section, the National Business Institute, Law Seminars International, the Institute of Continuing Legal Education in Georgia and Lorman Education Services.

Mr. Creasman has been rated as Martindale-Hubbell AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review Rated, and recognized by a variety of peer-reviewed attorney groups including The Best Lawyers in America®, Georgia Trend’s Legal Elite, and Georgia Super Lawyers.

He has been activity in the Atlanta legal community for decades serving as a President of the Lawyers Club of Atlanta and in leadership roles in with the Atlanta Bar Association and State Bar of Georgia Intellectual Property sections.   He has also been active in the International Trademark Association (INTA), serving on numerous committees over the past 25 years.   Mr. Creasman helped run the High Museum Wine Auction’s Trade Tasting, serving as its chair or co-chair for over 20 years.   He currently serves on the board of the Atlanta Chapter of the Commanderie du Bordeaux.
