The inaugural rankings, based on The Legal 500 United States 2025 edition, spotlight leading practitioners in Atlanta, Denver, Florida, Miami, New Orleans, North Carolina and the Southeast (Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, South Carolina) who are driving high-value, market-leading legal work in their respective cities, states or regions.
Lawyers named to the US Elite rankings undergo a rigorous evaluation process. An initial shortlist of attorneys is produced by the Legal 500 research team, followed by a selection process that includes interviews with top attorneys, peer feedback and an evaluation of key matters handled by the ranked attorneys over the past year. Submissions from firms are also welcomed independently of the shortlist process.
