MAFI Selection Highlights Leadership in Estate Planning and Commitment to Advancing the Profession
ATLANTA—(March 25, 2026)—FisherBroyles, LLP, the first and one of the largest distributed law firms in the world, is pleased to announce that partner Sarah Broder has been accepted into Class V of the Mid-Atlantic Fellows Institute, a highly selective program of The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel.
The MAFI was established to develop the profession’s future leaders in trust and estate law through a rigorous series of in-depth educational presentations led by distinguished subject matter experts from across the United States. Participation is limited to attorneys who are nominated by ACTEC Fellows and selected through a competitive application process. The program spans six sessions, beginning in April 2026 and concluding in November 2026.
Broder brings a comprehensive and client-centered approach to her estate planning practice, advising individuals and families on all aspects of estate planning, including wealth preservation, asset protection, succession planning and charitable giving strategies. With a background in family law as well, she is also highly experienced in the preparation of prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. In addition, her work includes fiduciary litigation, probate matters and trust administration.
Known for her thoughtful approach and ability to navigate complex family dynamics, Sarah develops tailored strategies ranging from sophisticated high-net-worth planning to more straightforward estate plans.
“I’m honored to participate in a program that brings together attorneys who are deeply committed to both the technical and human sides of estate planning,” said Broder. “My work is ultimately about people, and I’m excited to continue enhancing how I serve clients in those moments that matter most.”
Broder’s colleague Adam Abramowitz, a partner in the firm’s Washington, D.C., office, is an alumnus of the MAFI. His practice similarly focuses on guiding clients through complex estate planning and administration with practical, forward-looking strategies.
The ACTEC is a national organization of lawyers who are elected to membership based on the highest levels of integrity, commitment to the profession, competence and experience as trust and estate counselors. The MAFI is one of seven ACTEC Institutes and is dedicated to cultivating high-potential attorneys through advanced education, ethical training and professional development.
FisherBroyles was founded in 2002 by James Fisher II and Kevin Broyles.
